Graffiti has sprung up on the walls of various properties in and around Melkbosstrand. Rawson Properties is the latest victim of the vandals.
Large-scale candy-coloured graffiti has been spray-painted onto the black boundary wall that faces onto an open plot. Some blue paint dripped onto the grass while the vandal(s) were at work. The graffiti was probably done on Wednesday night as it was only noticed on Thursday.
Klein Melkbos
The parking area of the Klein Melkbos complex in George Mellet Crescent has also been defaced. The word “slet” has been spray-painted onto a wall. This tag appears extensively on walls elsewhere: It also appears on the long boundary wall near the entrance of Melkbosstrand, together with some other tags.
Nearby
“Slet” has also been spray-painted onto walls in the vicinity of Big Bay and even onto the wall of the Milnerton Playhouse Theatre.
Table View Police Forum warns “that graffiti vandals are active in our precinct particularly along Blouberg Rd and the R27. More than 50 tags causing thousands of rands worth of damage have been removed by TVCPF at a significant cost.”
