Tippler brings Traffic to a Standstill

A drunk driver brought traffic to a standstill in Table View on Sunday night. The man blacked out at the intersection of Blaauwberg and Jansen Road, causing a traffic obstruction. One empty whisky bottle was found in his car, as well as a second nearly empty bottle.

The Ghost Squad was busy investigating illegal street racing in Table View vicinity when they came across the car around 10 0’ clock in the evening.

The officers found the driver passed out behind the wheel, with an empty whisky bottle and a second nearly empty bottle on the passenger seat. It took three officers to carry the driver from his car, after which the vehicle had to be moved too as it was obstructing traffic.
