During the early hours of Sunday morning Table View police received a complaint of a shooting in the parking area near a local pub in Marine Circle. Upon their arrival the officers found a man who had been shot five times inside a vehicle. The man had been shot in the lower part of his body.

The victim was rushed to a nearby medical facility. Witnesses reported seeing a man shooting at the victim, and gave a description to the officers.
