A 33-year-old man will appear in Cape Town magistrate’s court tomorrow on a charge of attempted murder. When the police arrived at the address both suspect and victim were missing, however. A man, who had suffered a “very deep” injury to his head, was found in a car nearby. The police found a man fitting the description of the alleged attacker walking along Parklands Main Road. According to Captain Chandler the man was found in possession of the knife with which the man had been stabbed. He was arrested and charged with attempted murder. He will appear in Cape Town magistrate’s court tomorrow. The victim was discharged from hospital on Sunday.
