It’s been a morning of surprises for a young student paramedic. When South African Paramedic Services were summoned by District Watch to an address in the Plattekloof area they took along a student from Ambutek College. They expected to find a human patient, but this was not so. According to South African Paramedic Services spokesperson Warren Cupido, their patient was a critically injured pitbull.
The pitbull had been attacked by a dog that had broken out of its property, and had suffered severe head injuries. He was put on a drip and taken to the veterinary hospital in Monte Vista for treatment.
