NSRI Station 18’s medical training exercise yesterday had spectators agog. Dramatic scenarios were played out as ‘injured’ people were treated on the lawn next to the NSRI, and a helicopter belonging to Adrios Global Aviation took off on repeated mercy flights.

Not for real: A ‘wound’.
Finally, a trip was made by rubber duck and helicopter to Big Bay where another simulated rescue operation awaited the NSRI crew. “We’ll be back quick sticks,” the pilot promised, and off they went.

Future pilot? This little boy was fascinated by the helicopter.
The day will probably influence one little boy’s career choice. This boy had eyes only for the helicopter and its pilot. The wistful expression on his face said, “One day I will fly, just like this uncle!”
