Table View Police warns motorists to be on the alert at the intersection of Blaauwberg and Koeberg Road in Table View, as well as Potsdam Road near the Stables.

According to recent reports there has been an increase in cellphones stolen from stationary cars at these places.  No firearms were used.  Windows were either open and the item was grabbed or the passenger window was smashed, says police spokesperson Captain Adriana Chandler.

“Make sure that your valuable property is locked in the boot of your vehicle and that your cellphone is rather on your person, inside a pocket, rather than the console or passenger seat.”
