Emergency services had a busy weekend dealing with accidents. In some cases people were lucky and in some others, not at all. Two travellers travelling along the N7 will live to tell their tale although both vehicles left the road.
A vehicle travelling on the N7 before the M19 left the road in the late hours of 15 July. According to Warren Cupido, the spokesperson for the South African Paramedic Services, the driver was taken to 2 Military Hospital in Wynberg. He is in a stable condition.
The driver of a vehicle travelling along the N7 in the direction of Plattekloof, also left the road. The man was taken to Milnerton Medi-Clinic. He is also in a stable condition. According to Adonis the reason why the two vehicles left the road is unknown.
