The scene in Kingfisher Close last night.

A woman who was saved from a burning house in Kingfisher Close in Melkbosstrand last night is “in a stable condition.” According to the spokesperson for Community Medics Eric de Korte the woman was inside the house with her two huskies when the fire started.

“Community Medics along with ER24 treated her for smoke inhalation and later transported her to hospital in a stable condition.” The dogs escaped without any injuries. It is still unclear as to how the fire started.
