The regular arts and crafts classes presented at the Beach House Gallery at MJ’s in Melkbosstrand are proving to be a hit. Attendees at Saturday’s class were able to express ‘sweet memories’ using paint, stencils, 3D objects and Mod Podge on wooden panels.
The class was as full as gallery owner and artist Marina Jacobs allows it to be. She prefers to stick to groups of no more than 10. This allows for one-on-one interaction and a friendly atmosphere.
Attendees were encouraged to develop and express their personal style. Information was exchanged, dreams were encouraged, and there was much laughter.
The panels that were created showcased the attendees’ different styles. They were also eye candy and their creators could take them home. So, if you want to get creative, this is perhaps the place to go.
