ACVV Koeberg held their annual fundraiser this morning. And while the morning was cold, the hearts of the ladies gathered in the hall of the Reformed Church in Robben Road in Melkbosstrand most decidedly were not.

Inspiration & need
“We’re here to help you. To walk with you,” social worker Angela Muspratt-Williams told the crowd, that included many of the town’s angels of mercy.

She emphasised the financial constraints that the ACVV faces, and the pressing need for donations.

The ACVV would appreciate sponsors for their Clever Kidz Academy.

Familiar faces included Francine, Margaret and Pat.

One child costs R250 per month (R3000 per year). They also need financial support of their different programmes, discounted services, safety parents and foster parents.

Nomvano Mgidlana’s speech inspired.

Auxiliary social worker Nomvano Mgidlana gave an inspiring talk about her battle for a better life. After fifteen years in domestic service she managed to overcome near impossible odds and embark on her dream career.

The ACVV Koeberg is registered to provice Section 18A Tax Exemption Certificates to reclaim your donation from SARS.
