A man who celebrated his 32nd birthday yesterday died in an accident between Centurion and Midrand this morning. He was the passenger in the car that collided with a truck on the N1 between Centurion and Midrand. In a tragic coincidence the driver, who is supposed to be celebrating his 32nd birthday today, sustained serious injuries. His condition has been described as “critical.”

According to ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing Harduth “It is understood that the pair were trapped in the vehicle following the collision. Fire was on scene to extricate them.”
